Dear Nurse Practitioner,
The purpose of this study is to better understand nurse practitioner burnout. The study will include nurse practitioners working directly with patient’s full time, part-time, or casually in Canada with varying years of experience in practice.
The survey will be conducted on RedCap and will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Questions focus on current practice settings, identification of stressors as well as factors influencing burnout for nurse practitioners. The survey is anonymous. You are not asked any identifying information. Your email and IP addresses will not be collected. Data will be stored on a secure electronic Google Drive for seven years after which it will be destroyed using software that would render it inaccessible after deletion. Findings may be used to inform reports and presentations to institutions to offer strategies for mitigating and addressing burnout of NPs in health care settings.
